Using the app

Install and sign in

cix is a desktop app for Mac. You need a cix account to use it.

Install

Download cix for your Mac from the download page: one installer for Macs with Apple silicon, one for Macs with Intel. Open the file, drag cix to Applications, then open it. After that, cix keeps itself up to date.

Sign in

When cix opens, your browser opens so you can sign in to your cix account. cix is invite-only for now: sign in with the email your invitation went to. Not invited yet? Join the waitlist.

Next

Once you are signed in, cix asks which AI to use. You can choose now or later. Connect an AI
