Privacy
cix is a cloud service, and we think you should know exactly what that means for your code before you connect a repository.
To build an index, cix needs to read your code. Your repository's contents are sent to the cix cloud, parsed on our servers, and stored as a private index tied to your account. This is how your assistant can answer questions about your project without you pasting files into its context.
We hold that data to a clear standard:
- It is yours. Your index lives in a private, account-scoped space. We do not train models on your code, we do not sell it, and we do not share it beyond the sub-processors needed to run the service.
- It is deletable. Disconnect a repository or cancel your account and the indexed code is removed within 30 days.
