What stays private

Sending your code to a cloud service is a real decision. These are the limits we hold ourselves to once it arrives.

Your index is isolated

Your index lives in a private, account-scoped space. The only people who can read a repository's index are verified collaborators on that repository — people who already have access to the code on GitHub. Your code is not pooled with anyone else's.

What we never do with your code

• No model training. We do not train any model on your code.
• No selling. We do not sell your code or your data.
• No sharing. We do not share it beyond the sub-processors required to run the service.

You can remove it

Disconnect a repository, or cancel your account, and the indexed code is deleted within 30 days. Removing the cix GitHub App's access to a repository also cuts off cix's ability to read it.
